ANEL NOR

Anel Nor is a Mexican visual artist born in Mexico City in 1976. She has been based in Cancun, quintana roo, for the past 19 years, where she continues to develop and expand her artistic practice.

She studied Fine Arts at the academia de San Carlos and the Academia Jusevic in Mexico City. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous collective exhibitions in Mexico City and Quintana roo.

Her work is primarily figurative and is characterized by the use of acrylic, pencil, pastel, and watercolor. She explores portraiture, landscape, and mural painting, focusing on emotional expression and the relationship between the human figure and its enviroment.

In addition to her artistic practice, she has experience as an art instructor, teaching both children and adulst.

For Anel Nor, art is a universal language- a way to communicate color and emotion beyond words.
